About Me

Emelia is an illustrator and artist based in South Wales who works traditionally in acrylic, ink and watercolour and prefers a desaturated colour palette. Taking influences from her fine art background, blending realism with illustration, her work is sensitive, detailed and considered. She captures slices of life, highlighting the small intricate moments that aren’t often noticed. These visuals stem from personal experiences ranging from travel, the outdoors, animated films, music, pop culture and love of animals. From graphic novels to book covers, she enjoys narrative-based projects taking on character design, concepts and storyboarding to seeing its completion.​
